Please can someone help!

I work for the nhs and currently on sick leave. I have spoken to payroll about this on loads of occasions and was eventually told mid April that I could expect a payment in lieu of annual leave today but have still not been paid. Was kinds banking on this money as im on sick leave.

Anyone work for nhs payroll and can offer me some advice regarding this please?

Sorry didn't really explain properly. What I meant was I am currently on sick leave and have outstanding annual leave from last year which my employer has agreed to pay rather than I lose them.

I was expecting this in march but haven't been paid it so raised a query with payroll who told me I could expect this today and I haven't received it!

Really at my wits end :-(

Have to spoken to your manager about it? They will chase it up for you.

Every trust has different payroll arrangements. I am fairly senior (not HR/payroll) but I do know that the default position is "We can't do CHAPS payments", in fact, we can.

Say, if you feel like it, that the failure to pay is putting you in financial hardship - are you on half pay?
