I know you get holiday pay (which this would be), but it will probably be paid in a block at the end of mat leave, rather than after Xmas/new year iyswim.

You do continue to accrue holiday as normal throughout your maternity leave, can't take it then. So you won't miss out on whatever holiday you get (including bank holidays) but when you take them is between you and your employer. You could ask to take it all in a block at the end if you want to. Most people try and take a block at the beginning as well, because up to a year's worth of holiday entitlement is a lot to squeeze in otherwise.

I took mat leave from the 14th of July this year which was 6 weeks before my due date. And I took my 20 days holidays before I left so I just wanted to know what I'm due now after the above. Im being told I should get full pay for Xmas day, boxing day and new years day but I'm just confused as to when I should recieve this pay. Should I get it now or if I decide not to go back to work, do I get it when I leave :)

I don't know what your holiday entitlement is or how much you had already accrued before you went on leave, or when your holiday runs from and to, so I can't tell you how many days you are due.

But you get holiday as if you are still at work.

You don't get paid for bank holidays while you are on maternity leave, so not sure where you heard that, you won't get pay now for those days, but you won't lose them as you'll be able to take them later with any and all other holiday you've accrued.

Agree with others you won't get paid for these now but when you go back to work your holiday entitlement plus bhols should be added to your holiday for the rest of the year.
