Mum's had a stroke. Transport for dad to get to hospital?

My mum (83) had a stroke on Sunday. She was moved to a rehab ward at the local community hospital yesterday. She also has dementia. The stroke has affected her left side. I'm really worried about my dad (88) getting to see her. I've been driving him this week as I'm off work but next week onwards is going to be really tricky as I'm supposed to be back at work. I've got him the number of a local taxi firm. He thinks he can use the bus but it's a long walk to the bus-stop (and I can't risk anything happening to him). Does anyone know of any organizations that do local transport for elderly people in the Farnham area? TIA

I would arrange with the taxi firm to collect your DF at a set time from home, and then again from hospital - then he doesn't have to worry - you can just write down the times for him.

Sorry about your DM.
