End of term madness

Have just spent my evening finishing off a ladybird outfit for my DD's mini beast end of term party tomorrow and making bug jellies and spider cakes!

Arrrggggghhhhh! Surely I'm not the only one who finds fitting in end of term concerts, sports days, teddy bears picnics, mini beast partyies, open afternoons (to replace parents' evening) reception mums dinner, Y2 mums dinner, along with a full time job bl**dy hard work!

Just sat down with a glass of wine and think I deserve the Mum of the year award

Its mine, all mine, I tell you!!!!!!!!

Much sympathy. I have Carnival Day on Friday (have to bake cakes, FFS). Next week is VE Day Street Party - have to dress ds1 up WWII stylee (hitting charity shops tomorrow in search of a tank top, and long shorts...think a gas mask is a vain hope) Also have ds2's Sponsored Stomp - have to go and cheer him on. And the school Garden Party - more bl**dy cakes. And after all that and deserving a rest...six weeks of purgatory...
