Clever Cameron - he had to remove Gove before his unpopularity lost the the election. He'll promote him if they get in again, probably to Home Secretary or some such- Gove is a party faithful and career politician. They've done a deal.

The new minister will just babysit the changes he made, there's no way she'll unravel them as Labour have signed up to the curriculum changes in principal. And she did vote against gay marriage.

I was considering starting a thread offering a sweepstake on how many the total would reach after I spotted the 9th (plus others on wider reshuffle).
