Private school offer letter

has anyone in Scotland received their offer letter for private school? I've heard the offers from all private schools are sent out on the same day. The wait is excruciating!

Here in London, a lot of the boys' and co-ed schools (not all) are sending out offers first class on 13 February.
Have you looked at the website for your chosen school(s)? Normally if they give key dates (registration, exam etc.) then they indicate the date on which offers are mailed.

Thanks for your reply :) None of the schools I've looked at say which dates they'll be sent out, but I've seen one that says mid-feb so maybe they are all sent out on 13th feb. Fingers crossed for a nice Valentine's day!! Thanks again.

Girls school offers are sent here on 12th Feb, acceptance by 3rdMarch. Boys are not till May.
Luckily DD was in last batch of exams so exam day to letter day only two weeks.

I'm the North-East and the local indie I have applied for doesn't send out offer letters until Feb 27th - I presume acceptance must have to be within a matter of days because when I looked on the school calendar, there are 'Year 7 Taster Days' scheduled in for March 6th-8th...

Whereabouts are you in Scotland? Last year the Edinburgh schools sent out letters at very different times- we had one offer before Christmas and the other well into January.

We are in Berkshire and have received 2 offer letters already. Every independent school seems to have their own schedule here

Though are you talking about P7 or S1? We were waiting for P7 letters-don't know if the timelines for S1 are co-ordinated at all.

Thank you so much for your replies. It seems that each school has its own timetable for posting out offers. It is mid term here so after getting nothing today, I'm assuming it'll be next week now unless the post has been delayed. The wait is awful. Congratulations to those of you with offers :) and good luck to those of you still waiting! Thank you again for helping me x
