Mine is a late bloomer. Those are the BEST!

'It's never too late to be what you might have been.'

That's my mantra.

ds1 is in the top set for swimming.

But to the best of my knowledge that is his only claim to being "top".

It's all about the journey, man, not the destination.

I WAS top of my class, incidentally. And my adulthood couldn't have been more of a lesson in lack of what is commonly termed 'success'. But I've had a helluva run! Don't regret any of it.

Mine aren't anymore lol

DS1 in a school with lots of kids like him. Doing really well and loving it.

DD1 coasting along just fine in Y6.

DD2 near the bottom of the pile as she was born at the end of August. She's loving school.

DT1 will probably go in the same direction as DS1
DT2 in the same direction as DD1.

However, they do all enjoy reading atlases, encyclopedias, footie mags, books and watching lots of telly lol

Aren't they brilliant and gifted?!!!!

I don't know what sets my kids are in, because a)the schools only tell you that they are in the set appropriate to them, and b)my kids don't care and don't know either. Which is how it should be.
