hhhhhhhmmmmmmmmm? does northern ireland come under royal mail's definition of uk?

think, not sure thouh, but i think if you put down royal mail delivery in the delivery option then you can do something abut getting more money?? or relisting item if you cant contact buyer. you would have to return cash they paid you in same manner as they paid you

I know it's like shutting the gate after the horse has bolted but whenever I list an itm that will be couriered I always state in clear capital letters on the listing 'The postage quoted is for UK Mainland only, if you live outside this area & wish to bid on this item please contact me for a postage quote'.

That way you have covered your bum & can request more money for postage should they live outside the UK Mainland post codes.

Hope you get it sorted

Totally agree - it's so frustrating when postage ends up eating into your profit!

But you stated postage costs of £12.99 and Piffle has told you you can send it for £10.99...so why can't you send it?

I use These couriers - they are brilliant. I booked 3 30kg parcels at 11am and DHL came to collect at 12.30pm - and they take Paypal!! That was Mainland UK so not sure how much NI would be.

bubblerock · 17/07/2008 09:38

Forgot to say - they cost around £8 each to send and were large boxes.

i use you sell we deliver couriers and next day delivery is £10 so i said £12 to cover courier and part of the packing but that whas for uk mainland only and it is £17 for northern ireland
