Hello,

won an item recently and got it today. Was very excited but the item was not as described and I had already e-mailed seller describing any flaws and she said that there was none. I've e-mailed asking for a refund or partial seeing that I will need to repair it anyway. I'm concerned that she won't respond or refund. I doubt that I will see my money again, it wasn't much but I'd like to leave honest feedback for her but am worried that she will retaliate somehow or just not leave any feedback for me which I need to up my ratings with... Any advice welcome.

I've just got a reply from seller denying that she knew that the button was coming apart. It's not a flaw that she would not have noticed. Am very annoyed. I will just have to leave her negative feedback but how will she retaliate? What does Ebay do if item is not as described?

Although she can't leave negative feedback now, she could still leave positive but in the description word it in a negative way.

My advice would be don't do anything yet regarding FB. Report the matter to Ebay. File a dispute to the effect of The Item Wasn't As Described. As it wasn't described as being faulty. This way you are not retaliating, and you will most probably get your money back. That is assuming you payed via Paypal.
Fingers crossed.

If the seller does leave feedback but word it in a negative way then you can have it removed as it's against the Ebay FB rules.
