Nothing really anyone can do about this, I just wanted to rant!

I sold a box of glass bowls on ebay over a month ago (27th May) - heavy and fragile so pick-up only. He was supposed to collect that weekend but heard nothing from buyer x repeat, despite emailing him a few times. Sent him a (shirty ) email asking whether he actually wanted them and he said yes definitely and paid by Paypal.

Since then I've chased him a number of times - he only sporadically replies and last time said things were chaotic his end. He has all my contact details, I have none of his except email, which doesn't always seem to work.

Thing is, we are moving 200 miles away in three weeks and I just want these bloody things out of my house! I have no idea what to do with them, as he has paid but then doesn't seem particularly bothered about coming to get them. Gah!

Hhhmmm....tough one!

I guess you have 2 options,

First would be to refund him & tell him not to bother, the second to email him & say that as you are moving house & it has been over a month since he won the items you will give him til x date to collect & then you will be throwing them out.

I think you have already given him more then enough time tbh - I would not have been so patient!!

I've just emailed and told him we're moving in three weeks, so hopefully that will get his arse in gear but it's driving me mad!

The really annoying thing is that it's not even him who's collecting them, but his son who lives locally - but I have no way of contacting the son.

He's always apologetic when he does reply, so then I feel bad. Gah.

Thanks for the reply

I really do think you've been more then fair - regardless of how polite he is he really should sort out collection!

Fingers crossed his son pulls his finger out & collects from you soon

Cheers

Can't feedback be left now? I thought it was two months - I'm only being so patient because I'm scared of negative feedback!
