ok, so i won a karen millen dress on ebay, in the little box where you choose new, size etc it said factory second fair enough.

however in the lsiting it described it as beautiful, stunning etc

well when i got it today for my night out tonight around where the zip is, is all torn and the zip doesnt even work (coz intially thought i could stich it back together) and there is a lipstick mark on front of dress.

it said brand new without tags.

have emailed the seller.

i could get a dressmaker to sort it but would cost about £15 and i only paid £22 on ebay, so if she happy to pay repair costs then thats fine with me.

so upset as now have nothing to wear ut tonight

lady was sooooo apologetic said she didnt realise- cant see how as very obvious but anyway was beautifully packaged so she does care.

shes offered a full refund.

I have asked her as i love the dress so much whether she would pay the £15 to have it repaired (i only paid £23 inc postage) and I will cover cost of dry cleaning to remove lipstick. I really love it.

Glad to hear she was apologetic - but then again so she should be as she's listed it as brand new & it clearly isn't.

well she has decided she wants it back to return to her suppliers to complain to them so have posted it today and she will refund me full amount inc postage in both directions so resolved amicably just annoying as loved the dress

i wouldnt have returned it personally without having some form of refund first as now she will have your money and your item so lets hope she is honest also did you send with reciept of postage in case she claims it never arrived?

bubblagirl - that's the way it's done. return first then receive refund. obviously you send trackable.
if you base it on - they have your money 'and' your item, well they do once you've paid in the first place don't they?
