PLEASE help me! have just tried to sell a mobile phone for the first time - have only sold a few bits and pieces (clothes) before - and the winning bidder was someone with less than 10 feedback (listing did say to contact me first) and also he's in turkey!!!
i don't seem to be able to cancel bid - and now buyer has emailed me with apologies and asking that i don't leave him negative feedback! just want to know what to do? am i going to have to relist? is this going to cost me more money?? should i just have put on a buy it now figure that i was happy with???
i lifted the "no non-uk bids" ban within the last 5 minutes at the request of an italian bidder - now simply don't know what to do! don't want to sell phone to this buyer, but not sure what to do next to get out of this - any help appreciated...

i dont think as the seller you can neg buyers anymore anyway

i think you will just have to re-list.

If they are haoppy not to ccomplete ask if they will do a mutual withdrawal as then you will get a free relisting and your final fee refunded and they won't get a nonpayers strike. See ebay help here Hope it works out!

ok - was so angry i just sent an email pointing out where he was in breach and asking him to read listings properly in future - then having skim-read the ebay help informed him that i would be seeking a mutual withdrawal (poss a bit premature) - then immediately filed same...

thank you both so much for responding at this late hour, ebay has so much to answer for...
will keep you posted
