since ebay changed the rules about negative feedback, i have been putting on my listings, no postage outside the uk and no bidders with less than 15 feedback, just to tyr to protect myself from messers. so someone bids on a handbag i was selling, who has 0 feedback at all, with out asking first, then asks if i will send it to a US APO address after bidding on it. i have no idea where this is, but ebay say it is in the Phillipines.

they won the bag, so now will have to wait till they get in touch about payment and postage.

sometimes i wonder if it is worth it

The postage will be the price to send it to the USA not the Phillipines but that doesn't matter as you stipulated UK only!! I would be , do you have to sell?

you could change your preferences to block bidders from countries to which you do not post - that will solve that part of the problem for the future.

I'd be tempted to do a mutual withdraw from sale on this one.

can i do a mutual withdraw without actually comtacting the buyer?
i would rather keep the flaming bag than have all this trouble selling it.
i didnt know you could block countries, how do i go about doing that?

block countries by going into your preferences.

you can't do a mutual without the other party joining in - it has to be mutual.

have a look through your options - go to the help pages and type in key words to see if you land on some relevant advice. Sorry i can't look myself at the mo - I'm listing, doing homework, feeding the cat and dog, washing......

You don't have to sell, just relist and file a dispute with ebay as they are not in the uk.

Nice! Maybe they should read the details in future then!

I put in mine I won't post anywhere other than the UK too and get questions like 'how much to Germany?' grrr
