have you checked? I'd ask them to email it to you again just to be sure. Don't think you can be timed out password wise. I can log on fine but I don't know why I bother - stupid new search system

I had my ebay account hacked about 6 months ago. Someone in china started selling fake designer stuff on my account. ebay tried to take a load of fees of me (which I got back) but I've been NARU'd and am struggling to get reinstated!

Report to ebay straight away. You might also want to think about changing your password on the emal account you have linked to your ebay account.

get them to email you the password they have on record for you. If they do not have the correct email address either anymore then start worrying!

I've just gone through the preocess myself to see how quick it is working and I got a password reminder straight away. I had to answer a load of security qs about date of birth, tel no etc - did you have to do that too?

I had the same problem and it turned out someone had hacked into my account, but luckily nothing happened - ebay stopped it quickly enough.

Can't remember how long it took to get back into it again, but it was days at most.

well, some fucker had hacked into both my ebay & hotmail account! luckily ebay stopped them in time
