anyone left neutral since new rules came in and would you for this?

bought a knitting pattern, seller stated dk yarn required and it isnt (if you are not a knitter that means i cant buy the cheap stuff). they have left neg for people for leaving neutral and im not sure if i should be that bothered as i can alter the pattern i guess but its not really the point, but then ......oh i dont know. have got bored of typing already! add a comment if you can be bothered

No, I would ask for a refund as misdescribed as you have to give them the opportunity to put it right.

Then I woudl leave a negative if they didn't - who can be arsed to alter patterns if you wanted something simple

don't use feedback instead of communicating - it is this exact thing that decent sellers are dreading. It is actually grounds for feedback removal, so, please communicate any problems you have with the seller first.

It sounds like they were either careless or made a genuine mistake. The only way you can tell their intention/attitude is by talking with them.
This is what I do and if the person is rude and doesn't care, they get a neg, and if they try to put it right they get a positive.

Always go by intention/attitude, that's what counts most on ebay I think.

you would think i have never used ebay before, i think i may have to remove myself from the computer and drink some wine. am having one of those days ... never even occured to me to contact them

i would be furious if someone left me neutral without contacting me first.
