I sold two items the middle of last month to the same lady.

I sent as two parcels as it was two items and I had pre wrapped them.

Anyway I presumed they had got there as heard nothing.

A few days ago got emails saying where are my items?????

I said I sent them had proof of post and would investigate but lo and behold they have turned up to my door today with a note from Royla Mail saying the buyer didnt collect them from the sorting office !!!!!

So what on earth do I do now!!!!
She will prob say she didnt know they were there and no card was put thru the door which may be true?

So do I email the lady back and say if she pays more postage she can have the two items or refund her or what (not that I really want to as not my fault)???? Or do I pay the return postage to her?

I would like to try to avoid a neg if poss!

urgent advice please thanks tons

I would message her telling her what happened and give her options and see what she says.

Most people are nice on Ebay, but there is the occasional idiot, so she may be like ok what do I owe you...and if not, send them anyway (even if out of pocket) to avoid a neg.

I know it is a pain when you sell something for 99p and end up having to pay out £2 in shipping on your own dime. You end up paying someone to take the item!!

Hopefully she is nice and reasonable!!

I have had this happen this week also - I said I would send them again for the postage charges or refund and she chose the later - I believe my buyer when she said that they hadn't left a card - but sent her the tracking details so that she could also see I was genuine and had sent them - the disappointing thing for the whole transaction is that she left it so long - if she had let you know earlier then you could have checked on line and alerted her it was at the PO. No neg feedback so far on my transaction.

if she was rude to you I would be tempted to get back to her and say - unfortunately your items have now been returned to me as you didn't collect them from your local sorting office. It is always advisable to contact your sorting office and your neighbours when an item doesn't arrive. Anyway, if you would like to continue with this transaction I am prepared to re-send them for the cost of postage (I do not require any extra for packaging) Alternatively, you can opt out of the transaction and I am more than willing to issue a refund (minus the cost of posting) Looking foreward to your earliest response - lets not leave it so long this time eh sweetie? (no! don't put that bit!)
