I sold this person an item and posted it (first class recorded as requested). A few weeks later it came back to me marked Item Not Called For. So I emailed the buyer and asked if she wanted it sent to the same address or a different one, she asked me to send it again, so I did (she didn;t offer any extra postage costs so this time I sent it 2nd class recorded).
Today I find she has filed an Item Not Received dispute and given me negative feedback with Item Not recieved as her comment.
It was her bloody fault in the first place that she didn't collect the item and it got returned once. Why didn't she email me again and ask before slagging me off like that?
I responded to the dispute asking her if she had contacted the post office, pointing out that it had taken them a few weeks to send it back to me last time. I have the recorded delivery slip for the thing, plus the number. ANd I am not at all inclined to refund the silly cow if she just hasn't bothered to collect it again. But what should I do next?

Did she pay on paypal? I have just had similar but have lost postal receipt so will have to refund if she pushes but don't want a neg feedback. If it was paypal you can ask them to make the decision based on evidence for both sides. I know you can also answer the neg comment cause i've seen it done before it won't cancel the neg but it will get your point across to anyone who looks in the future. If it isn't paypal you can also contact ebay for help.
Hope this helps. Good luck

Yes it was paypal and TBH I might well have been happy to refund her if the package had disappeared IF she had complained to me directly. I have the tracking number and everything, but had no idea the package had not arrived until got the notification of dispute opened.
I have replied to her neg feedback with 'why did you not contact me before registering a dispute?' which should give other punters a heads up. I have 95 feedbacks and this is the only farking negative, grr.

I can see why you are so annoyed. You should try contacting paypal if she registered the dispute with them as it sounds like you have got a good case.
The girl that did it to me was the same, the first I knew about it was an email from paypal she may well be right but its like they are going behind your back and not giving you the chance to sort things!
Hope you get it sorted

According to online tracking, the item is in the sorting office awaiting collection. FFS! Going to get on to ebay and moan.
