I've been sent the wrong think from America and they've asked me to send a photo but there is no attachment facility.

Any idea how I do this?

confused - you are the buyer? Why are you sending photos?

Maybe the Seller wants a photo to prove buyer has been sent the wrong item?

you can add photos to a dispute in the resolution centre - you access that from My eBay.

I thought there was a button when you write a message that said "attach a photo". I've had photos sent to me or I've sent them (me always as the seller).

Alternatively, you can ask for an email address & send a picture to that using usual email.

Yes the seller wants a photo to confirm it's the wrong thing as it's from America. I am not paying postage again for their mistake so I can't just return it.

I didn't want to go down the resolution centre as I think I have to open a dispute? I'm not complaining about them yet. Can I open a dispute without actually making a complaint just to send this?

There's no button or anything for me to send photos. I have sent them my email address but so far no reply. Sad

You'd think they would take more care with the product!

I would open a dispute if I were you - why are you reluctant to do so?

um, sorry, this makes no sense, I just went thru the options, on ebay.co.uk at least.

I went to purchase history -> drop down to contact seller -> clicked on Other reason.

Immediately below the giant box where I can write my message is a hypertext link in plain text that says "attach photos".

There's no reason why I can do this and OP can't.

but if the seller is not replying or being co-operative then a dispute is perhaps the only way to resolve it.

Lijjk. I will try that but the plain message box is just that. Plain!

It's only been a couple of days so not sure if a dispute is appropriate. But I will try to find the options. Maybe ipad doesn't have it and will try pc.

Thanks

Many thanks. It is the ipad eBay app that doesn't want to play. Just logged into eBay.co,uk and the messages had a photo attachment included. Also did 'other' and ditto with the photo. So hope all is sorted soon

Thanks
