Hiya,
I sold a toddlepod on email and the person who won it has 0 feedback. I thought oh no but DH said everyone has to start somewhere which is true I guess but... As soon as the auction ended they sent me a message saying 'the person who bidded on this wants you to text her re payment' with a mobile number.

What on earth does this mean?! The person who bought it used someone else's account? But this account has never been active either. I texted the number twice but no reply. It says PayPal for payment in my listing.

Am fed up as everyone time I sell anything on eBay I get idiots who don't pay or so stupid things like this.

Might put 'no bidders with less than 5 feedback!'

I think I would reply to that msg to say please look for invoice on Ebay account & then invoice them through regular channels.

They are new, so they don't know the ways, yet.

Open an Unpaid Item dispute. When this is closed you can either offer to your second bidder or relist.

You have the option on your preferences to block users with less then 5 feedback who do not have a credit card on file.

Thanks! That is really good advice and am definitely going to change my preferences to block users with less than 5. Great tip!

just open an unpaid dispute - there is no need to text anyone. How long ago did auction end?

It only ended yesterday so I thought wait until it's been 48 hours and then just cancel the transaction?

no don't try to cancel it because they can refuse that and still neg - you need to file an unpaid dispute. They will get a strike then too.
