eBay

Item not shipped, what do I do?

I won an item on eBay on Sunday 7th July and paid for the item straight away, the handling time says 5 working days so I presumed that it would be sent on Friday at the latest, by Saturday evening the item had still not been marked as shipped so I sent the seller an eBay message simply asking when the item was going to be shipped, it is now Monday 15th of July and I have not had a response from the seller and the item has still not been marked as shipped!
I though you have to ship within 7 days of the auction ending? It has now been 8 days since the auction ended, I have had no response or contact whatsoever from the seller and the item has not been marked as shipped!
What should I do?
I wouldn't mind if the seller has got delayed with sending the item if they would just let me know what's going on, I am an understanding person and realise people can get delayed etc but I just want to know when she will send my item!
The seller has all positive feedback and other buyers have said "fast delivery" etc so I just don't understand why my item has not been shipped yet and no contact from seller?

open a not received case - and leave appropriate feedback once the case is closed.

I'm just wondering if I should give them more time or have I given them enough time to at least contact me?

I would open the case, you still need to wait 8 days to escalate which gives them plenty of time.

They could easily have contacted you with some excuse reason by now. Just open a case. That still gives them 8 days to sort it out, but no reason for you to wait more than 2.5 weeks.
