Seller refused to sell pushchair to me as wasn't the price she wanted

Recently won the bidding on the pushchair - buyer then messages saying she won't be selling it to me as it wasn't the price she wanted.

Have a feeling she will open a unpaid item case

What can I do

MandragoraWurzelstock Mon 01-Apr-13 09:51:14

also you will be very unlikely to get into trouble of she files unpaid against you. It takes a few of these for someone to get flagged, nothing will happen (I think)

MandragoraWurzelstock Mon 01-Apr-13 09:50:25

can you link to the listing OP?

MandragoraWurzelstock Mon 01-Apr-13 09:49:37

Ignore, ignore, ignore. You can have our frog for 95. Or less. smile

I've got a persistant offer-maker, I've told her I want to let it run, she comes back with 'this is my final offer, I can wait 5 days' hmm what do you say to that?

Ebay is just weird.

I sold a giant electronic keyboard (the musical variety) for £1 once, and I still couriered it out to the winner. To me, something is only worth what someone else will pay for it. What a daft bint your seller is angry.

. hoping OP gives us a link to who seller is.

Skygirls Sun 31-Mar-13 09:53:01

If you won the auction, then she's bound by eBay rules to sell it to you at that price. She can't say that you were rude for not paying £250.
I don't think she sounds like the sharpest tool in the box, TBH.

She can't leave negative feedback as such, but it may not be a nice comment- this you can contact eBay to remove.

Glad you reported. Did you also file a case against her for not selling you the item?
(DO NOT PAY as another post suggested, or else it'll be ages to get your money back and only if eBay finds in your favour- they probably will, but don't part with your cash as you're sure she's not going to send it to you).

Good that you put her on your blocked list too.
Go on.... Tell us who she is so we can all block list too grin

ImTooHecsyForYourParty Sun 31-Mar-13 09:39:58

She clearly is too thick to understand how ebay works!

It's an auction.

Bloody fool of a person.

I would be sending a heavily sarcastic reply explaining what an auction is.

sarahtigh Sun 31-Mar-13 09:35:48

respond to feedback

" i won this for £95 seller wanted 250 refused to sell to me very rude"

ImTooHecsyForYourParty Sun 31-Mar-13 08:49:41

you need to copy all her messages to ebay.

Ooh [nosey] can we add her to ours wink

SaveWaterDrinkMalibu Sat 30-Mar-13 22:15:39

Thanks - have added her to my blocked list -

fergoose Sat 30-Mar-13 22:14:40

well a seller can't leave neg feedback or a neg statement, and if they do they can be reported for that also smile

SaveWaterDrinkMalibu Sat 30-Mar-13 22:13:18

Isn't a business seller

My lovely shitty feedback got me a shitty message stating she would be leaving me fucking crap feedback as I fucked her over!

Hmm yeh ok

is it a business seller?

That is crap ebaying!

ENormaSnob Sat 30-Mar-13 21:57:24

Report and leave shitty feedback.

Stupid cow.

No one in their right mind would pay 250 for a frog.

SaveWaterDrinkMalibu Sat 30-Mar-13 21:52:07

The most I've seen a frog go for is £125 and that was with loads of extras.
Totally deluded woman

You can get a used Cam or £150-£200 the woman is deluded.

PoppyWearer Sat 30-Mar-13 21:45:21

I sold a Bee bought new in 2011 for £275 in the last month (and was delighted to find a buyer). £250 for a Frog is unrealistic!

GeoffVader Sat 30-Mar-13 21:43:28

How silly. I wanted £50 for mine but I started bidding at 25 and got 30, I still sent it! That's how it works!

SaveWaterDrinkMalibu Sat 30-Mar-13 21:42:21

Reported and left feedback.

Received message from her 5mins ago - saying I was rude for not paying her price

fergoose Sat 30-Mar-13 21:41:31

so she should have started it for a higher price. All those final value fees she will have to pay if she keeps relisting it. If she sends you a cancellation request do not ignore it, if you refuse it she won't get her £9.50 fvf refunded but if you ignore it and it closes automatically she will get those fees back - maybe a bit mean, but tough really isn't it.

BuggedByJake Sat 30-Mar-13 21:40:04

If she wanted £250 she should've started it at £250! Leave negative feedback & report her so eBay put restrictions on her acc. If no one reports her she will keep doing it.

SaveWaterDrinkMalibu Sat 30-Mar-13 21:35:50

Was a bugaboo frog with raincover, footmuff, carrycot for £95 so not a bad price - seen them go for less and seen them go for more. She wanted. £250

What sort of buggy was it? Did you get a real bargain?

SaveWaterDrinkMalibu Sat 30-Mar-13 21:29:46

Stupid me didn't check her feedback before bidding. Seems she has done it a few times before.

Am about to leave feedback saying
'Refused to sell at the winning bid price, very rude seller'

She was rude when I stated that I would not be paying the price she stated in a message.
