Free listing is only for auctions, unfortunately. But you can list for 1 day only if that's any help.

Are we sure the FLW this weekend doesn't include some BIN? It reads to me like it might...

there have been FLW on BINS before.

Oh no, I re-read, if there is BIN it will be on listings with auction start price, too, if I read it right. Worth a try, like you said.
