eBay

First negative feedback!

I have been using ebay on and off for years for buying and selling and always had fantastic feedback. I sold an item of clothing the other week just before it snowed, my dcs were then ill and off school followed by me being ill and it took me just over a week to post. I emailed the buyer and apologised for the delay and gave my reasons.

The buyer has just given me negative feedback including that he wouldn't recommend and that it was a poor transaction.

I know it is a one off but should I ignore it or what could I do? Can you ask people to retract their feedback?

Any advice appreciated?

I didn't think you could give negative feedback TBH.
I'd probably contact your buyer and ask them to revise it.

Just think hard about your reply (that you an leave underneath the feedback). You can craft a spectacular response.

Remember, it's not a real thing. Like losing money or anything. It will drop down your list over time and after twelve months it drops off the graph/charty thing.

And block her.

Just reply underneath carefully ( and not when you're cross!). had my first one the other day..from some numpty who managed to contact me after a week of non payment and ask for another week to pay for a £3.75 item (inc postage) but then couldn't find the message section to moan about the fact that the unsized t-shirt was 'the wrong size' ask if I would consider a refund. Angry
