Also does free listings apply to anything, I'm just looking to sell clothes.
If they don't sell, I take it you just don't pay anything?

Check Announcements* each friday at 6pm or join the selling challenge threads here to get notice. I expect it to be this weekend or the one after.

*ps, sometimes we get an unannounced FLW Confused.

Thank you I' ll have a hunt for a seller challenge thread.
Am I right in thinking you just pay the actual end percentage price at the end of a sale?

You still pay for any listing extras (like extra pictures or reserve price fee), you still pay paypal fees (3.4% of total including P&P, plus 20pence fixed charge), and you still pay 10% of the "sale" price.

Zero fees this weekend, I think it just came online in last few minutes(!?)

ps: sorry just saw last Qs: yes still worthwhile, but research your item carefully make sure you get postage fees to cover your costs. I put extra pictures on another website to avoid paying fees on them. I schedule listings weeks in advance and then send them live on FLWs to avoid even 6p schedule fee. I use start price as reserve and wait for FLW. Little tricks like that.

Argh! Right what I'm trying to post is: do you add your postage fee bit to where it states postage under the bid bit?
I have already been caught out by this by not putting enough and I ended up paying myself!

Also what does sellers feedback mean? What should I say about the people I posted to? I don't understand?
Thanks so much for replying I feel I'm a tad late to the eBay party!

Feedback:
Just say "Great ebayer +++"
That's what I do anyway.

Obvs wait until they have paid up before leaving feedback. Feedback is that number next to your name which increases with each transaction so that people can see you've made lots of ebay transactions successfully.

I think usually you find you have already set things up so that payment comes out of your paypal account.

Postage: it's one of the fields you fill when making the listing.

Feedback: I don't give mine until buyer has filled in theirs; Because I don't know until then that they are happy with purchase and I won't need to fix a problem.

Someone bought one of my items! Hurray!
They haven't paid yet, I haven't experienced this before. From a complicated google search I take it I wait 4 days then email them asking them to pay? If they don't then I open a dispute case? Is that right?

no point emailing, just open dispute on day 4 - they still have another 4 days to pay before you can close it.
