Okay to leave no feedback?

I won an auction for some items of clothing a few weeks ago and payed via Pay Pal straight away. Did not hear anything from seller until about a week later when she refunded me my payment, then sent a message to say she had refunded me because she had mistakenly ended the items sooner than some others she was listing and she was unable to post them for another week. Well I could have waited if she'd have contacted me but she made the refund before checking. I stated I would still like the items and she sent another invoice via PayPal but when I tried to pay it would not let me, so I said leave it and gave up! Don't really want to leave any feedback as I never got the items, is this okay? Fairly new to eBay so don't really know correct etiquette.

Perfectly ok not to leave feedback in this case I feel.

In fact all feedback is voluntary, I often withold it when I have had an underwhelming experience.

why aren't you leaving her a neg or neutral though? - she is a non performing seller. Did you report to ebay too?

But feedback is purely voluntary, so you are under no obligation to leave any, many people never leave any.

Thanks. Think I'll just leave it as is. She did not leave me any feedback even after I payed immediately.

I think I would have reported or felt obliged to leave neutral or negative feedback if she wasn't prepared to still sell me the items, as I was suspicious that she may have wanted more money for them. But she did try to invoice me again and it was probably my ignorance of not being able to work out how to repay her that was the issue.
