Divorce/separation

Help re: making what we agreed legal

Spilt with exH about 9 months ago. We both agreed what is fair once we decide to divorce (RAF gratuity and pension) but it's not going to be in the near future. We just can't afford it at the minute. He has now met someone else and I'm worried about things changing. Is there a legal document that we can write/sign to show what we have agreed?

Thanks in advance, it's all new territory!

I really really recommend that you do with this asap. What you agree between yourselves can change very quickly. You are talking big financial items ie pension and gratuity - that needs to be dealt with professionally. I had similar with ex (pension and a bonus type thing) - these are longer term assets to deal with and the providers will only act if they receive proper documentation. Ours was a court order but you would need to check if joint sols letter would do.

Thank you. I'm aware how quickly it can change, it's scary. Just didn't know where to start or what is considered to be fair.
