Sad my other half is a clean freak and always has been. but it's started to get the point where he was becoming a bully to me and the kids. so today I asked him to leave. If has no where to go and no friends I feel awful now but I don't feel sad that he has gone at all just feel relieved. can't tell my family or friends yet as they will all just swarm me and I need to be alone. but then there is work he took the car I need it for work
what a messSad

Wow! What a brave thing to do! I wish I could do the same! I've had the words on the tip of my tongue countless times but never had the courage to let them out !! I think you are incredibly brave and I can only imagine the relief you feel is like the relief I fantasize about!! It must mean you've done the right thing!!

Although having said that, looking at it from a different perspective, perhaps his obsessive cleaning is uncontrollable and something he needs help with. Perhaps when the dust settles you might considered explaining to him how it makes you feel and see if he would consider getting help with it with veiw to coming back?!
