I want to separate from my husband, what is the process of what I/we need to do - I am clueless.

I went to see a solicitor and he listened to me rant then advised on the steps to take

Hi, I'm separating from H without solicitors intervention.

We split just after Xmas and agreed that we'll wait the 2 years and go down the DIY route.

Not that I haven't at times thought about screwing the bastard good and proper, I just want out so the split is 50/50 from the house sale and we've agreed maintenance.

I guess it all depends what you can agree between you ( we've lived in silence in the same house whilst the sale goes through, though he works nights so that has helped immensely.

Stick to your guns at all times and never fall for any 'woe is me' crap.
