Title after divorce?

Still in the process of a divorce, just thought what title I should take after it's all done and dusted. I'm keeping my married name as I have children from the marriage and want to stay with the same name. Do I go to Miss (sounds stiff but lets people know I'm single and straight to the point) or Ms (not too sure what to think of this one and how people see it).Confused

I'm going to stay as Mrs. I want to keep my curren surname as I prefer it to my maiden one and Miss fels daft and I don't like Ms. Would quite like to turn into Lady but suspect that isn't possible Grin. Mayb I need to do a PhD and turn into a doctor...

Unless your next hubby's a rich and a good looking lord! Wink I'm damned sure the next one treats me like a queen and loaded!! Obviously wasn't fussy enough first time around Grin

I have a PhD and never thought that the title would come in so handy! Grin
I cannot stand Mrs - in fact I get agitated if I get that address. I am not a Miss and never felt comfortable with Ms.
Dr works naicely as my marital status is not implied.

Haven't the brains to be a Dr I'm afraid Envy I live next to the local hospital in Cardiff, maybe I should start socialising around the pubs/restaurants and marry one instead!

I took on Mrs when I married, divorced 11 years, not married to anyone else, no kids, can't be bothered to change it and don't actually care what I'm referred to as. I've just started changing to Ms on forms coz DP has mentioned he cares.

Do I need to inform anybody if I change my title in the same way as changing address, even if I'm keeping my married name?

Not going to give nearly ExH the pleasure of keeping Mrs. Think it'll slightly peeve him off if I go back to Miss/Ms, basically saying I'm back on the marketWink, even if I'm not up for that for the time being.

You can use whatever title you like without informing anyone of the change. I use Ms and have done since I was 18. Saves a lot of hassle.
