me and dh aremt getting on, i want a divorce on the grounds of unreasonable behaviour, threats from him, verbal abuse, emotional abuse, loads more. he keeps telling me if i do he will go all the way to have residence of dd 7.
anyway he has been looking after her while i work shifts in a private care village, i have come home tonite to her saying things that daddy said to her and she also says he has smacked her loads, to which he denies. i dont beleivd him as i have seen his temper and rage.
i am now so upset it has got this far, feel like a terrible mum, what is her childhood like, not normal. i have told my solicitor that i want the petition done asap but she says i dont have enough grounds and the courts will throw it out. also am petrified of the aftermath when he gets it.
can he get custody of dd, he doesnt work and gets jsa, he doesnt contribute financially at all. i work part time, pay everything, he practically lives here free.
can anybody help with anything i have written.
if feel as if i cant cope no more.

Hopefully someone more useful will be along soon, but I'd be really surprised if he was to get custody of your DD.
