New partner whilst living with separated husband

hi this is my first post and I would love a bit of advice. I am separated from my husband but we are living in the same house amicably until we can sell it and divorce ( we have a 6 year old daughter)
I have recently got together with my friends brother who I have known for about a year and feel that I need to tell my husband before he finds out from someone else. I'm really worried that this would make things a lot less amicable and would cause problems with his 'opinionated' family deciding that I'm a bad mother for seeing someone else.
If anyone has any advice or has been in a similar situation I would love to hear from you.........many thanks

I would keep quiet

It may be amicable now but it could turn particulary if your husband thinks you may get back together

I'm in a similar piston but am not seeing anyone (yet)

I would leave tomorrow if I could afford to but my husband can't afford to live alone so we need to sort something out for him first

It's v v difficult
