Well it sounds like you know what you want 
Are you going to be free then ?
Be warned though even when you say goodbye to all those negatives it can still be a very painful process recovering from splitting up. But worth it.

it's very telling that he describes you as wanting to be free 
almost as if he's doing everything he can to ensure you're not free whilst your with him, that your his prisoner IYSWIM.

You sound like me.
I have recently freed myself and so many people have told me I'm like a different person. I'm SO much happier it's unbelievable.
Leaving was so much easier than I thought it would be. The hard part was the emotional blackmail that followed so be prepared for that.
Have people either around you or who you can contact easily. You might need reassurance that you've done the right thing.
