No - but we aren't too far from Ringwood - I just looked on the website and it's 30 quid, wow! seems very expensive to me!

I have been to Lapland twice - once 12 years ago and last time 2 years ago.

Went to Lapland UK in Kent last year for a 'Christmas' family day out - and what a waste of time that was. Does not anywhere compare to the real thing. You may say that if I had not been to Lapland then I would have appreciated it more, but I don't think so.

If the New Forest one is anything like the one in Kent I would say save your money.

Don’t go!!!! Been today and it is totally awful!! A complete con, paid £100 to get enter to all i can describe as a fair ground run by travellers, and everything cost extra!! you got your gift from Santa after queuing in the rain and cold for nearly two hours which could of easily come from the £1 shop and he didn't even give it to the children you had to go to another B & Q shed to shelves covered in tat! My three year old was devastated he said but mummy Santa hasn't wrapped my present!! Sums the day up really!! Also forgot to add you can't take photos of Santa they have someone taking photos and they want an extra £10 for a photo of your kids on top of the entrance fee!! I feel like I have been robbed and will be contacting watchdog and the local media its a complete sham and should be shut down don’t waste your money or shatter your children’s illusions of Christmas my 6 year old is very confused and I feel that this has robbed him of his belief!! It says its were dream really do come true – believe me it was more like a nightmare!! I think the BBC are investigating they are lots more comments and photos on moneysaving expert.com in the forums search Lapland new forest and other sites!! We are all looking to get our money back but fear that the con artists will be long gone before anything happens!!

there are alot of negative posts about this place on other parenting sites. I understand trading standards, BBC and local papers are also investigating.

If you have paid for tickets by credit card it is possible you can claim refund due to misselling

LAPLAND UK IS NOTHING LIKE LAPLAND NEW FOREST, NO CONNECTION WHATSOEVER.

The link below is Kent TV's review this year.
http://www.kenttv.com/programmes.php?CID=26&SCID=52&PID=1822&Title=Lapland+UK+2008+at+Bewl+Wa ter

This is how the Guardian saw it.

Many people have booked thinking it was Lapland UK, it is totally different and very down market.

The Echo are reporting it is closing. Fingers crossed it is correct and people get their money back.

If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
