Hi everyone

Can anyone recommend a decent indoor play area in the Watford area please ?

My friend and I used to always meet up at Kids in Sport (or something like that !) near Watford but we arrived there in the summer to find it shut down.

Watford is about half way for us both as she is in Harlow and I am in Sunbury on Thames but a little bit either way is fine.

We have a boy and a girl age 7 and 8.

Thank you
Floss

Hiya, just to let you all know we visited Gambado which has taken over from Kids in Sport and it was great !

There is plenty of room, lots of variety, bumper cars, a climbing wall, adult chill out area with computers.

My only complaint was food wasn't very good at all and it was chilly in there but the staff informed us there was a problem with the boiler and it wasn't usually an issue.

Really worth a visit and if you go online there are often deals.

Have been to this one a couple of times. It is very good. it is in central Watford, a 2 minute drive from the Harlequin shopping centre.

There is also funky kidz biz (used to be a Topsy Turvy world. It is good as well but can be very cold there in the winter (heating is not very effective).Parents' Paradise is probably better for 7,8 year olds.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o

For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
