I have 8 year old nephew to look after on a weekday and was wondering what I can do with him? I thought of renting a film..? going to local park? I have my DD who's 17 months old as well who needs to be entertained. I don't drive. any good ideas? I have tummy bug at the moment so in case it doesn't go away, indoor things to do as well pleaseee or things in Londonas We could take tube and have a day out!! Thank you.

London Zoo is great for all ages.

Indoors? Painting? Lego? make a cake together and decorate it?

Put DD in buggy and ask 8 year old to help push (when safe to do so). Take picnic wherever you go. London zoo? Aquarium? I would probably focus on the 8yr old, assuming that DD will nap in the buggy and be content to (mostly) watch the world go by. Going home to a DVD and some treats would probably be a good idea when everyone gets tired/cold.

For the DVD, something like Finding Nemo or Cars or Ratatouille would probably work for both of them - the scarey bits would probably go over your DD's head.

thank you very much! I always wanted to go to London Zoo..but I think he has been already twice this year? Okay sounds like aquarium would be fun and safe in case it's raining. DVD and treats sound lovely for the evening.

Try tesco clubcard vouchers? Kelloggs had a promotion too but I think it was limited to v specific zoos/parks. Sorry i can't be of more help.

Def recommend London Aquarium as it is very visual for your little one and very interesting for the older one.

okay I am leaning toward aquarium for sure and lunch at wagamama's. And it looks friendly for buggy drivers!
