TV programme on smacking

Channel 5 is to show a documentary next Monday at 9pm looking at the issue of physical punishment from the perspective of Christian parents in the UK and USA. The Radio Times describes the programme as follows:

'Documentary series exploring unusual lives. This edition looks at three families in the UK and US whose ideas on the upbringing and disciplining of their children are directly informed by the Bible. The families talk candidly about their Biblical Parenting methods, including their beliefs that children are inherently disobedient, and their use of corporal punishment such as rods and spatulas to discipline their children.'

Is anybody going to watch this?

I think I might.
I am not against the odd smack on the back of the hand.
I think in the advert though it showed them with bits of wood etc.
This interests me, as DP says i should not even smack DS on hand, might make him watch this so he stops thinking im sooo bad
