Difficult to say with nothing in them MP, what were you going to wear them with? I think skirts are quite nice but those ones do not seem to give any shape if you know what I mean. Anyway shoot me if you want...
Think all the other men must be down the pub watching the footie and cricket.

think bgd likes very tight pencil skirts with shapely bottoms in them, finished off with a nice pair of stillies.

Lots of nice skirts there, does depend on length of skirt and legs though!

And what you wear them with.

Which ones do you like best?

Piffle · 05/04/2007 17:47

dp likes green hawaiian and purple broderie ones

Men cannot give an opinion of a skirt without a woman in it. Dh says, 'it's just material to me'

Report
aDad · 05/04/2007 17:54

Not the hawaiian ones, and not the single colour ones really but quite a few are alright otherwise.

Sorry, 'alright' is probably quite a male word to use in this context!

That's not a question for a man.

And if you've fallen out with your partner over this, I can see why.

No no no these are not MY skirts

My point is that I am quite sure that all men would find them horrid

unless they were gay

There were many MNers swooning over the gorgeousness of the skirts but I think they are all ghastly

Not more skirts!

If I see another skirt link ever it'll be too soon!

Gobbledigook · 05/04/2007 19:42

Dh would think they were all horrible, I'm quite sure.

If he pops in I'll ask him!

MP I am NOT buying a Wallis skirt fear not

I appreciate your well founded concern that I may not exactly go down a storm with the boys in one of them

(I don't think anyone swooned, did they? I thought they were getting pretty desperate tbh )

I wore a similar skirt last year while feeling fashionable

I took a train journey and shared a booth with three 20+ year olds and later I said to DH "I felt so old sitting next to them" and he said "Well you just need to wear young peoples clothes"

and he was RIGHT

All clothes look wrong until you see them on someone, or at least a mannequin.

As the other chaps here have said, we don't really do admiring skirts without an arse in them. Preferably above a nice leather-booted pair of legs.

My immediate reaction to the idea of anything with floral prints on DW is one of horror, but you never know - I suppose it depends what it is "matched" with? (another weird concept).

the mustard looks nice.

I think the plain black A-line is the one I'd most like to see my DW's callipygous posterior slipped into.

the skirts are all far too long.the shorter the better for me.

nappyaddict · 16/04/2007 04:34
