MEN!! What are the little things that your wife or partner does that REALLY annoy you?

There's a thread going in Relationships where us women are saying what are the irritations with our other halves. Loo seat up, farting in bed, that kind of thing, so... it's only fair to hear the blokes side!

4. chats too much on the phone
5. Nags
6. spends loads of money on clothes
7. Makes the house smell of flowers
8. has spikey legs at times
9. clutters the bathroom with make up
10. asks a question and then tells me the answer

10. farts and blames it on the dog
11. crys when she watches films
12. wears a bobbled up dressing gown when there are sexy ones
13. moans about the size of her backside
14. aks for directions. Makes you look stupid
15. And she is on mumsnet instead of giving me good loving.
16. No housework being done because she is on here

dw gets so uptight about insignificant stuff that doesn't matter.

i went out last night to get some groceries and stuff. i got the wrong kind of "spray and wash" ($3). this morning she hit the roof.

i don't care about the wrong 'spray and wash' or anything that costs $3 for that matter.

oh and she renegs on things. i hate that.

i want to go skiing. i wanted to take her and ds but we're not sure he's ready and she is a little worried about herself.

anyway, she said "why don't you go night skiing by yourself. you know, to get your footing and so you don't have to spend all day on the bunny slope with us"

i got all excited and went up to my mum's and picked up my old dusty skis.

i need them waxed and sharpened ($20), the lift ticket costs $25 and i'll have to leave straight from work at 4:30 and won't be home until about 11pm...she said....

Ah! I was about to open a thread like this! Glad someone got there first...!

Here's a few:

• Asking me to do something when I am in the middle of doing something else.

• Asking my opinion on things which do not matter a toss and on which I have no opinion (e.g. choice of top, position of things in freezer etc) and then NOT consulting me on thigns about which I'd have liked to have had some say (e.g. visits from in-laws...)

• calling things/people funny northern names.

• calling the evening meal "tea".

• singing while driving.

bigbutchbloke - your no.12 is so true of mine as well!! and your no.4. what is it with the phone? they think it is some sort of sociaising device rather than something designed for the realying of verbal messages. ??!

Ha ha UQD it annoys me when the Southerners in my office call the evening meal "dinner".

I always say, "when you were at school, what did you call the women who served your mid-day meals and supervised the playground during luncheon?"

"Dinner ladies."

But then again, we am in the North, suppose if you're in the South you should "do as the Southerners do"...

Actually I think my dh and I may have our gender rolls mixed up, as he asks things like "do you think I've put on weight" etc and then if I give him an honest answer he will get all upset!!!

Why ask then?????
