What smellies do you use

Aftershave/deodorant? My DH uses awful Lynx deodorant. Armani Code after the festive season. I don't like either.
A while ago he had a lovely Givenchy but it has been reformulated Sad.

Any ideas for sandalwood/musky/woody/patchouli/orient type for men. These are what he has asked me to search out.

Rather a classic than the latest footballer's !

TIA

I'm crap at describing scents but I quite like the Hugo Boss range.

No scent on face (only nivea moisturiser after a shave) and basic Sure For Men roll-on deodarant. The whole world of "smellies" for men has passed me by. Does this make me a dinosaur or a tramp?

Not at all IslandMoose. My DH is 50+ish. Uses dandruff shampoo and that's it.

I use Chanel Allure and Chanel Egoiste. The latter probably fits the sandlewood a bit. The Allure is a bit more mysterious and enigmatic.

I don't deodorize though.

patchouli ?

GetAllTheThings His age does not make him a hippy living in the wrong era!
Patchouli is a no from me. Background hints would be fine though.
Will look for the Chanel Egoiste as sandalwood seems to be the main note.

Creed Aventus. Not cheap but rather good.

My DH is late forties and I still love Aramis on him, it's such a old one but still very nice.
