Money for old computers?

I'm not sure if I've posted this in the right place but I'd be grateful for any advice I can get.

I've got two computers which are just lying around our house right now. They are 8-9 years old so I think it's unlikely that someone would buy them to use them, but maybe the parts are still useable.

I was wondering if there were companies that pay money for computers like this, similar to the mobile phone trade-in websites. Has anyone here done anything like this? I know I could take them to the tip but it would really help us to get some money for them.

don't expect too much though.
