Eco washing balls

Does anyone use these? I got some free with our our washing machine about two years ago. I put them at the back of the cupboard thinking they'd be rubbish but if they do really do 150 washes for £10 then that might be a good saving.

Are they any good?

I used them for a bit but the children complained the washing did not smell right

Anyway, I still have them and use them occasionally for towels and bedding when i know i can line dry stuff. or when I run out of the washing tabs

I use the drying balls but only when it's going to be on and we're out because even with a separate utility with a door they are a bit noisy.

Someone gave me a couple of these plus three spare sets of the balls you put inside them. I just used them for my cleaning cloths and occasionally sheets that need only a light wash. I put a bit of FC in when doing the sheets but I.m not sure if this affects their efficiency.
