Feeding a family of 4 for £100 a month

Anyone else done it? There is only two of us so I have bought some fresh fruit because I felt there weren't enough of our 5 a day (thinking that I will save a few pennies on the hundred because we will only be having half the portions).

Never eaten porridge, it's a big adjustment. There a quite a few onion dishes which I am a bit intolerant to so I have changed a few of those dishes but generally am following it. It will be worth it, I hope :)

Ok, looks like this could help us at the moment.

Last weeks shopping = £50
This weeks shopping = £70

Wtf. I've managed to keep our shopping bill for 4 under £50 a week for nearly 9months. I've done/bought nothing different and even gone down a brand on some items and it's jumped £20 in a week.

Just ordered this weeks shopping so will try this from next week.
