Valued Opinions

Hi
Haven't been here long so don't know if this has been mentioned before but I joined a site called Valued Opinions. Its like a survey site, they send through one or two a day on average to your email and you can decide if you want to take part, but you get paid actual amounts for doing it. Not cash, but cash amounts, then when you have £10 you can get a voucher (Tesco, John Lewis etc) to spend.

Having done this when I was skint, I can vouch that they DO send vouchers and it doesn't have to take long to amass the £10. I mean obviously it takes longer than working for the money!

If anyone wants to PM me there email address I can send you my "invite a friend" link thing which means I get some money but thats not really my point, I just wanted people to know that if you could do with an extra £10 to spend on shopping a month then its a good way of doing it.

Wow... I've been part of Survey head for 2 years and only last month managed to make £15. I get invited to plenty of survey's but do not qualify for most.

Will try that one - thanks.

MySurvey, Toluna, Ipsos, GlobalTestMarket, Zoom Panel, Valued Opinions, GfK. They're the ones I get paid for most frequently.

I've been on Valued Opinions about 2 months and I'm upto £3.50. I find that I don't qualify for many at all as me or my partner do not work in advertising, journalism or pharmateuticals, I'm just a boring old teacher.

I work in a day nursery, it took a while to get the first £10 but after a while you get quicker at the surveys and can get paid more. Most months I get £10-£30, usually as amazon vouchers or paypal.

I have done market research groups too such as Saros, where you go to a group and discuss a new product.
You get varying amaounts, between £40 and £200 depending on length of sitting and work involved (some involve a bit of homework)

They usually supply upmarket food spread,M&S sarnies and lovely coffee. They generally last 1-2 hours, and the time goes quick. You also get a chance to meet loads of people Smile

Just wanted to say, one good survey site to join is panelbase.net. Only last week I did a survey for them which took 2 hours (but you could log out of it between sections) & got £50 for it - £25 per hour seems like good money to me! They pay you by BACS (or other methods, can't remember which) & it is secure & mine will come through next week, despite being told it may take up to 28 days to be able to claim it!

Bounty Word of Mum also pays by BACS & often offers product trials for mums, so you get eg a pack of nappies to trial + money for doing it (only up to £5, but it all helps!)

Mum's opinions is another good one, they enter you into a cash prize draw for each survey you do as well as paying you, I won £100 earlier in the year like this Smile. They pay by cheque/BACS.

Tesco Shoppper Thoughts gives you surveys about shopping/Tescos & pays in Clubcard points, generally 50-200 per survey, about 2 a month.

Also Tesco Home Panels send you products to trial but you don't get paid for that. But in the past I have had clothes, dishwasher tabs, moisturiser, nappies & all sorts of other things!

I sound a bit survey mad, but it all helps, when you are having a tough month (which seems like most months Sad) & you remember you can claim a £10 Tesco voucher or £10 cash! Hope this helps somebody who needs it.

I'd second panelbase, they pay out quickly too, and if the DCs are older, they have a spin-off called "kidzview" where the DCs review tv they have watched for about 40p for a 2 minute survey. Mine use it for present money.

I do valued opinions and one poll. One poll only pay out at £40 though and I've got some way to go but their surveys are quick and easy.

I also got a voucher from Valued Opinions. I also received some laundry detergent through them. Helped us immensely when I was unemployed. Will get back into polls as we are on a tight budget at the moment and the extra income is welcome.

Hi, I'm new to mumsnet. I came across this thread by accident. Stressheaderic - you need to be careful about how you describe yourself - they generally ask at the beginning of polls whether you work in any of a number of occupations - you should answer 'no', if at all possible! It seems to work! The good thing about VO is that sometimes you get (useful) products to try too, such as deodorants, stretchmark cream, fake tan &c., and occasionally, you get a real jackpot survey. Funny how excited the prospect of a twelve-quidder can make you!

I joined Toluna and Valued opinions. Did loads for Valued Opinions and it still took about a year to get a £10 amazon voucher. Not going to keep it going now as CBA.

Now and then I do a few random competitions from Loquax, not won anything but if you have autofill set up they are quick and easy, you end up getting a lot of spam though.

I've had 2 £10 vouchers from valued opinions since August and am close to the next one so not a fortune but worth having. I've also had £60 of Amazon vouchers from Toluna and am expecting £40 from Onepoll in the next few days
