so would i but never find the time. meanwhile my friend has just been offered a publishing deal. if you want to know if you could get published you only need to write an outline and one chapter to send off to publishers.

how you get from ideas to a chapter i dunno i'm afraid...but i remember seeing writing courses at FE colleges for adults in the past so theres probably cheapish courses out there somewhere. you can ussually get college prospectus' in the library either now or soon for september courses.

good luck

Hi there,

I have nearly finished a novel and feel so proud of myself.I think the trick is to just write. It doesnt matter how it starts out, just ramble on and get it all out of your sysytem.Once you have a whole bunch of pages you can re-write and edit to your hearts content.I found that the characters find themselves and its lovely to see your own words growing into a story. There is also some really lovely writing books out there, see your local library.I find just reading about writing gets me inspired!Litchick who is a published author on these threads is often around and has some good tips too.Good Luck.
