Thought this would be best place as any to put this as thre is so many of you looking to write as a hobby.

We have a TV and Film review website and looking for writers to submit articles either as one offs or on a regular basis.

It is important to note that we aren't qualified writers, journalists, have degrees etc, we are just a group of people who love watching TV and films and like writing about it. The point of the site is that it is for anyone.

If you are interested please get in touch - more details on the site

Just a little bump on this thread to alert of vacancy we have :)

Just wanted to alert the good women of mumsnet that my own website 'tvandfilmreview.com' is currently looking for film reviewers to join our team. Particulary interested in mums that get dragged along to see childrens films as well and keen to get film reviewers on board that not only have an opinion on films themselves but for any kids films they review, are able to summarise what their children thought of the films (with them being the target market).

We are the fastest growing website in the industry this year and since launch in August we are almst at 5000 twitter followers (currently gaining over 1000 new every month) and had many cast and crew from shows and films tweet us and RT our articles with the website itself having a great number of hits and over the 500k mark.

The vacancy is on our website with all the details but does close tomorrow, any questions etc please email in or ask on here and I'll more than happy to answer.

Unpaid?

I really don't think so. I get so tired of creatives being expected to work for nothing. I get paid for my writing and would urge others to value themselves. There is paid work out there.

Not just unpaid, Santasapunk, but you have to pay for your movie ticket! And be "required" to meet certain quotas. The cheek.

It is trying to exploit women they think sit at home doing nothing, runaway. I will stick to paid journalism, thank you very much.
