Recipe of the week

penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*July Double Decker Bus~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

(424 Posts)
Seeing as we're a bit cramped, have no room for shopping and have a fair way to go yet i've hired us a double decker, hope no-one minds. Good news is there is a hot chocolate machine and a luxury loo for lots of POAS!

kkas stay on the July Bus. If I am pg this cycle going by my LMP my EDD would be 21/07/10 but, going by when I got my Peak on my CBFM I would be due 04/08/10. I am staying on the July Double Decker!
polly i am so sorry that she caught you. Hope you have better luck on the August bus hun.

I didn't test this morning as, decided I will wait until Wed when I think she who must not be named is due. To be honest with you I am scared to see a BFP just as I am scared to see a BFN and witch appear! Think i will post a question in a new thread as to the excess amount of milky/lotiony cm I had yesterday along with a couple of faint but bright red blood spots when I wiped yesterday!

Saturday stats. I've taken myself off as I think I would actually be 1 Aug DD if I caught on (some calculators say 31 July, that's why I originally stayed on). Think AF is on her way anyway....

carrots I haven't really looked into temping etc, I suppose I never thought I would need to. With DS I came off the pill and that was that, but then that was 9 years ago.
I know what you mean with the changing his mind comment though, he has agreed before a couple of times but he changed his mind overnight both times. I will probably make a docs appt soonish to ask the important quetions, although burying my head in the sand seems much more appealing right now blush
I did bring up my concerns with DH last night but he just reminded me that the doc told me it was a common thing etc.. I suppose we will see!

its horrible being on the back of the bus. I think that maybe everyone has given up or left for the august bus. Good luck with the testing schmoo

I will be testing on this Sat 21/11. Is anyone else still on the bus or, am I left alone with the choc drinks machine and posh loo all too myself?

stuffed I am divorced from the father of my child (5). I've gone through the difficulties of being with someone who didn't want a child, and if you are happy in the relationship otherwise (I wasn't) then it's really hard to get a resolution.

If I may make a suggestion, if I were you and your DH has agreed to it, then I would be doing all I could to make sure I knew what was going on inside, so that assuming you keep going with TTC you have the best chance of catching before he changes his mind!

I don't mean to be patronising but do you know about temping, tracking your other fertile signs, etc?

I was incredibly lucky as my DH and I managed to catch first cycle after I had my mirena removed. However, I also was tracking my cycle so we knew exactly when we needed to DTD which gave us a much better chance of it working.

Sadly it isn't always that easy of course, but it may make you feel more in control of the situation. It depends on what you like. Personally, I like to know everything that's going on with my body - some people don't.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]
For a sceptical face, , type [hmm]
For a no comment face, , type [biscuit]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
