Hi
I am in such a fix about it as I know how expensive they are and don,t want to waste money, but please can anybody tell me are they worth it and do they really help you to conceive.
Can anybody swear by their effectiveness and say that one of these did help them to concieve after trying for ages.
I feel like trying anything at the moment after 14 months of ttc without success.

Hi lostit

I love my CB monitor! I find that it really easy to use - by detecting estrogen as well it gives you a better sense of your fertile window. There's none of that "is the line darker than the control line??" type stress that OPKs seem to give (I've never used OPKs though so only going on what I've heard). I also track temps and my CM though, but even on its own I think the monitor's good.

It's definitely expensive but you could try Ebay to see if you can pick up a cheaper one
(I didn't myself but I've definitely seen posts on here from women who've done that). I've also heard that you can use the Persona sticks in the CB monitor, and they work out cheaper per month than the CB sticks.
