is it poss to get pg straight after your period is finished?

ie can you ovulate again stright afterwards or can the egg be left behind or something? (crap medical knowledge!) becausei am feeling dreadful and have had a weird mini bleed about 6 days after sex (which i have never had before). prob now imagining symptoms tho lol!

Yes it's possible, depending on the length of your cycle. Do you know when you normally ov? How long does the bleed normally last? If you bled for 7 days then ov'd on day 9/10 it's totally possible.

I'm pretty certain I got pregnant with my DS the day after my period ended, and with this one (now 37 weeks pregnant) 3 days after my period ended. So I would say, yes.

There is always a chance you can ovulate at different times in your cycle, and every time you have unprotected sex or a contraception failure, there is a chance, even if it is small...

egg can survive 24 - 48 hours and sperm up to 7 so you never know

no idea about ovulation times etc, not ttc but not trying not to iyswim! AF normally 7 days. it stopped, we had sex the next day (i think) then i had this weird bleeding thing that lasted a day and a half then stopped. feeling so sick and bloated tho (this may be completely unrelated!0, arggh i am so impatient cant wait to test to find out for sure.

I got pregnant on day 8 unexpectedly. We took a chance this month on day 7 but I'm so broody these days that I hope i'm pg. So i think its possible. Just read earlier about someone who ovulates on day 4
