We BD'd on Tuesday and today (Thurs) which is CD8 I am getting some eggwhitey stuff - too early to ovulate usually so trying to work out whether it could be sperm still coming out or early ovulation.

It sounds to me like cervical mucus which is produced throughout the month.

Ovulation as well is not an exact science; a woman can ovulate earlier, later or not at all in any given cycle.

A more important question to consider is what your menstrual cycle is like anyway - if you are regular you are more likely than not to be ovulating however, even normally fertile women have the occasional anovulatory cycle.

If your periods are irregular you are less likely to be ovulating regularly.

As attila says but I also read sperm leaks out for up to 48 hours (so thats prob CM like attila says) and if you are ever confused, you should smell it (boak!) or even taste it (double boak) but not sure I could do that!

Attila if you are still about - I rang the clinic and have got my appointment moved to 20th Oct (but wont see the "main man" but an "understudy" the receptionist said)

oh also just read that if you drop it into water EWCM will ball up and float to the bottom while semen will go more stringy! what a lovely thread!
