Hi there,

Just wondering if someone can help me.
I have been on clomid for 4 cycles now and my last AF lasted 35days. My AF is now 5days late and I'm looking for help.
For the past week of so I have been suffering from really sharp pains at the lower left hand side of groin, I have been severely constipated and have constantly felt been bloated, tired and dizzy at times.
I have taken 2 tesco hpt's over the past 5 days and both were negative.

I was wondering if anyone else has ever had these symptoms and can help me with what is causing this.
I have been ttc for nearly 2 years and desp to get pg.

Any help is grately appreciated.

Hi Laura,

If you have been ttc for two year without success there is likely to be a problem with either one or both of you equally.

Are you being monitored whilst on clomid, if so I would talk to the person who prescribed this drug treatment.

Please seek medical advice asap re these problems; it may be that clomid is not actually suitable at all for you to be taking. It is certainly not suitable for all patients with fertility problems to take.

Do you have an actual diagnosis?. If you do not I would query exactly why you were given clomid in the first place.

You can ill afford to be fobbed off and you will need to be persistant in order to get answers.

Hi Attila

I am being monitored on clomid by day 21 blood tests, my husband has been checked and he is fine, better than fine actually.
The gyne that prescribed clomid is baffled as to why I'm not conceiving as I do not have pcos or endimetriosis, and my tubes are working fine (had a laparoscopy in August to confirm all of this).
Clomid has never gave me these problems before over the past 4 cycles thats why I'm getting confused this time.
